So much has been going on in my life lately. Not just lately, but ever since the last time I posted. God has taken me on such a roller coaster of a journey. Ups and downs and all arounds I've been, but still I've not settled. What life has brought me has been a lesson in love. No, I don't have a girlfriend, nor even a prospect at the moment. It's all been my love surrounding God. I've been reading "The Shack" by William Paul Young. The way the book has opened my eyes has been incredible. God's not just an orbiting Zeus-like deity hurling lightning bolts at those who cross Him like we've made Him out to be. He loves me...us...so much. Definitely a must-read book.

When I start to feel guilty about my past interpretations of God, He then reassures me that my guilt is not what He wants. He wants to forget our mistakes and move on without it coming between us and Him ever again. How refreshing!

Something interesting I've come to in the past few days is that I finally have a living, moment-by-moment relationship with Him. It's not that I'm trying so hard to be holy or anything, I just love Him too much to hurt Him with those things I've been made aware of. I can honestly say that I'm good with where my relationship status is now. No fretting about singularity anymore. It's me and Joshua (another name for Jesus) until the end.
